Alpha 2019

Alpha 2019 Series

The Alpha Series starts soon – this is a great course for all people wanting to explore the meaning of life, and those who have questions about God and Christianity.  The Series is free, no obligation, and is held on Wednesday nights 7-9pm in the Knox cafe for 10 weeks starting on Wednesday 24 July.  Each night begins with dessert, a short talk on different aspects of the Christian faith, followed by small group discussions.

Prior to the Alpha Series is the introductory Alpha Taster dinner, 7pm on Saturday 20 July, to which you with your colleagues, friends, and family members are very welcome to see what the Alpha Series is about.

Knox Pastoral Care

If you are aware of someone in the parish needing care and support please email or phone the Knox office so that we can advise the appropriate small group leader, pastoral carer or elder.
To help each of us to be a caring and supportive part of our church family, we have several church resources available  to be offered to someone else or for yourself. This Knox Care Resource list includes people to pray with, visitors (elders and minister), small groups to join, helping hands for tricky home jobs, communion served at home, and prepared meals.
The Knox office will link you in with these forms of support when you contact them.

Part of Small Group?

Small groups are a great place to grow in faith, chew over tricky things together, encourage each other and build friendships.  Some groups are following a Bible study, others meet to pray, some chat over a cuppa, all are different depending on the way God has gifted the small group facilitator.

Check out the back wall in the church foyer and feel free to contact the small group leaders, they will be happy to help you.

For any information don’t hesitate to contact Tina Hudson at
