Kingdom Kids

Years 1-6

Hi, and welcome to Kingdom Kids!

We’re not going to let a little thing like lockdown stop us from praising the Lord are we? So every Sunday we’re going to bring you songs, stories, craft and loads of fun online. We hope you’ll join us as we continue to give thanks and to glorify God.

We can’t wait to see you all again.

—Rick & Marnie

24 May

The Kingdom Kids’ crew are taking a breather this week. But join us next Sunday for a special Pentecost celebration.

Have a great week!

17 May

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
— Acts 16:31

Paul & Silas

Sometimes we face unjust treatment. In Kingdom Kids this week we look at two of Jesus’ friends—Paul and Silas—who are cruelly persecuted for living out their faith in an unfaithful city. But instead of grumbling they choose to sing God’s praises, and God responds in an incredible way.

Dad Joke

Son: Did you know that some giraffes can grow up to 18 feet?
Dad: Yeah, but most of them only grow four.

10 May

“Honour your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may go well with you.
— Ephesians 6:2-3

Mother’s Day

Today we celebrate the mums in our lives. The bible reminds us of the importance of honouring them. Join us as we explore what that looks like.

Dad Joke

Knock Knock.
Who’s there?
Howard.
Howard who?
Howard you like breakfast in bed mummy?

3 May

Be still, and know that I am God.
—Psalm 46:10

Rest in Him

Did you know Jesus loved to get away from the crowds and go to quiet places to just be with God? Sometimes life can be pretty hectic, but in Psalm 23 King David encourages us all to do as Jesus did, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.” Isn’t that a beautiful picture of God’s love and provision for us? We have nothing to worry about!

26 April

For I know the plans I have for you declares the LORD, plans to prosper you, not harm you, giving you a hope and a future.
—Jeremiah 29:11

God is With You

Join us today as we look at how God was with Joseph even in the trials. Joseph trusted in God, and God’s plans for him did not fail. After you’ve watched this week’s Kingdom Kids, we encourage you—as a family—to sing our national anthem (linked below). It is a wonderful prayer to God for protection over our nation. And until next week, God bless y’all!

Noah’s Lockdown

Howdy young partner. So glad you can join us as we take a look at the most epic lockdown in history.

Dad Joke of the Week

When Noah came out of the ark he commanded to all the animals, “Go forth and multiply!”. There was then a great stampede of every kind of hoof, wing and foot. As the dust settled Noah noticed a pair of snakes remained in the doorway of the ark. “Why are you two still here?”, Noah asked. The snakes replied, “We can’t multiply, we’re adders.”

12 April

Resurrection Sunday

Join us as we take a look at what the resurrection of Jesus means for us today. But before we do that, let’s praise God together with some high-energy worship. Pump up the volume, chuck this puppy on fullscreen and let’s go!

5 April

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
—Colossians 4:2

To kick things off this week, we take a look at the importance of prayer. We’ve put together a video with some songs and a very special play for you, as well as a craft and this week’s memory verse to print. We hope you enjoy it.
